LOOKING FOR A CLINIC THAT "GETS" HANDS?

Finding a clinic with good hands & wrist specialists can be difficult.
At LDN, we took our time to design our Hands & Wrist service, asking patients, surgeons and consultants what a really good H&W clinic should be made of...
-
A leading physiotherapist with years of experience treating hands & wrists conditions? Check.

-
The ability to make bespoke splints on site? Check.

-
Rehabilitation equipment specific to hands & wrist injuries, and designed for people using their hands at work or in their sport? Check!

Our Hands & Wrist team can provide you with a diagnosis and immediate, specialist treatment for any hand, finger and wrist injuries.
This includes acute trauma such as fractures, muscle and ligament tears, tendon ruptures and pulley injuries, as well as more chronic conditions such as arthritis, RSIs or nerve conditions.
We have built close links with hand & wrist surgeons, consultants, radiologists and other specialists, and we can refer you seamlessly for specialist investigations if required.
DID YOU KNOW?
If you are using a healthcare insurance to cover your treatment, you can usually get your appointments and your splinting covered.

You can book yourself into an initial H&W consultation with one of our Hands & Wrist physios, or you might be referred to our Hands & Wrist Lead, Ella, by your surgeon or another clinician.
Coming to our Hands & Wrist clinic, is a little bit like visiting a workshop: you'll see tools, cutters, thermoplastic sheets, instruments of measure of all kinds... These are there so we can assess you accurately, but also provide you with specialist treatment (including splints if required) there and then.
In terms of rehab, you can expect:

-
Joint and soft tissue mobilisation
-
Bespoke splinting if required
-
A tailored home or gym-based exercise programme
-
Return to sport sessions in our gym with your physio if you are looking to return to a specific sport (you'll get to try our hang board!)
-
Sport specific rehabilitation if you are returning to a sport which places specific stress on your hands (climbing, cycling, tennis...)
